HEIDI Connect is a private social media automation tool. Account owners connect their own social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Bluesky) so that scheduled content can be published and performance statistics can be read on their behalf.
When you connect an account we store: the access token issued by the platform (encrypted at rest), your account id, username, display name and profile picture URL, and the permissions you granted. When content is published we keep a log entry with the caption, the time and the resulting post id. Media files you upload are kept temporarily (up to 48 hours) so the platform can fetch them, then deleted.
Only to perform the actions you ask for: publishing posts, reading insights and statistics, reading and replying to comments and messages on the connected accounts. Data is never sold, never used for advertising and never shared with third parties other than the platform the account belongs to.
Tokens are kept until you disconnect the account. Disconnecting (the "Koppla bort" button on /connect) deletes the token immediately. You can also revoke access from the platform itself (Instagram/Facebook: Settings → Apps and websites; TikTok: Settings → Security → Manage app permissions; Bluesky: delete the app password). Data received from Meta and TikTok APIs is handled in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and the TikTok Developer Terms of Service. We do not store platform data longer than needed for the functions described above.
