Terms of Service

In short: you connect only accounts you own or are entitled to manage, you own and are responsible for the content that is published, and each platform's own rules always apply. You can disconnect an account or stop using the service whenever you want. Swedish law applies. Full terms below.

Terms of Service
english · in effect from 2 September 2026

Last updated: 8 October 2026.

1. These terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "the Client") and Linus Svenning, a sole proprietorship (enskild firma) registered in Sweden ("we", "us", "the Operator"), regarding your use of HEIDI Connect at heidiconnect.app and its API ("the Service").

By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

Connected Account — a social media account you have linked to the Service through the platform's own authorisation flow.
Platform — Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Bluesky or any other service we support.
Client Content — text, images, video and other material you submit for publication.
API Key — the credential we issue so your own software can reach your own Connected Accounts.

3. What the Service does

The Service is a connection layer between your social media accounts and the software you use to manage them. Once you have connected an account, the Service can, on your instruction: publish posts, reels, stories and carousels; read statistics for your profile and your posts; and, where you have granted those permissions, read and reply to comments and direct messages on your own content.

The Service acts only on accounts you have personally connected, and only when you or your software instructs it to. We do not publish anything on our own initiative.

4. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or another person, you confirm you are authorised to bind them.

You sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email address; no password is used. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.

5. Your accounts and your API key

You may only connect accounts that you own or are expressly authorised to manage. Connecting an account you do not control is a material breach of these Terms and may also breach the Platform's own rules.

Your API Key gives access to your Connected Accounts. Treat it like a password. You are responsible for everything done using your API Key. If it is exposed, delete it and create a new one on /connect immediately.

6. Client Content and rights

You retain all rights to your Client Content. We claim no ownership of it.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, transmit and publish your Client Content solely for the purpose of carrying out the actions you instruct — that is, delivering it to the Platform you selected. This licence ends when the action completes or when you delete the content, whichever is later; uploaded media files are deleted automatically after 48 hours.

You warrant that you hold all necessary rights to the Client Content, including rights to any music, images, footage and trademarks it contains, and that publishing it does not infringe the rights of any third party or breach any law.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to: publish content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing, deceptive or sexually exploitative; publish content involving minors in any inappropriate way; send spam or engage in coordinated inauthentic behaviour; artificially inflate engagement; connect accounts you do not control; circumvent, disable or test the security of the Service or of any Platform; resell or sublicense access without a written agreement with us; or use the Service in any way that breaches a Platform's terms or community guidelines, or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if we reasonably believe you have breached this section, or if a Platform requires it.

8. The Platforms

The Service integrates with third-party Platforms through their official APIs. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, Bluesky or any other Platform. All names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Your use of each Platform remains governed by that Platform's own terms, including the Meta Platform Terms and Instagram Community Guidelines, the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and TikTok Community Guidelines, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy, and the Bluesky terms. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The Service uses YouTube API Services, and you can revoke its access to your channel at any time on the Google security settings page. If a Platform changes, restricts or withdraws its API, features of the Service may change or stop working, and we may have to remove them without liability to you.

9. TikTok-specific terms

When publishing to TikTok you select the audience (privacy level) and the interaction settings yourself for every individual post, and you disclose commercial content where applicable. By publishing you agree to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation and, where the post is branded content, TikTok's Branded Content Policy. Branded content cannot be published as a private post.

10. Fees, billing and cancellation

Access to the Service is included at no additional cost for clients who subscribe to HEIDI Command Center.

Standalone seat. A standalone seat costs 9.99 USD per month or 99 USD per year. VAT is included in the stated price. The seat is a subscription: it renews automatically at the end of each billing period and is charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel it.

Payment. Payments are handled by Stripe. You pay on Stripe's own pages and we never receive or store your card details. After payment you are returned to the Service and your seat opens. When you come back later, sign in with the same email address you paid with.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time, with effect from the end of the current billing period, by emailing [email protected]. We do not refund the remaining part of a period already paid for, unless the law requires it. When the subscription ends, your seat closes at the next check and your connected accounts stop publishing. Your data is kept until you ask us to delete it, see data deletion.

Right of withdrawal. If you buy as a consumer in the EU you have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase. Because the Service is a digital service that starts immediately, you are asked to agree that delivery begins at once, and you then lose the right of withdrawal once the Service has been supplied in full. To withdraw, email the address above within 14 days.

Changes. Any future change to fees will be communicated to the email address on your account in advance and will not apply to a period already paid for.

11. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available but provide no guaranteed uptime and no service level agreement. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, because of failures at a Platform or a network provider, or for reasons outside our control. Publishing may fail or be delayed for reasons at the Platform's end. Support is provided by email at [email protected] on a best-effort basis.

12. Suspension and termination

You may disconnect any account at any time on /connect, and you may ask us to delete your account entirely at any time — see data deletion.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by a Platform or by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Unless the reason is a serious breach by you, we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data. On termination, your tokens and connected account details are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and that any post will be published, will remain published, or will reach any particular audience.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of goodwill, lost content, missed publications, or actions taken by a Platform against your account, including suspension or removal of content.

Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service during that period, or SEK 1,000 if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Swedish law. If you are a consumer, your mandatory rights under Swedish consumer law are not affected by these Terms.

15. Indemnity

If you use the Service as a business, you agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your Client Content, from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or from your connecting an account you were not authorised to manage.

16. Personal data

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated to the email address on your account at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept a change, you may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall be settled by the Swedish general courts, with Malmö District Court (Malmö tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.

If you are a consumer, you may instead bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and you may refer a dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), www.arn.se, or use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
